Lighting Designer/Technician -

  • Works closely with the Director and Assist. Director to create a lighting scheme that supports the overall production goals.
  • ​Serves as the Light Board technician during tech week and performances.
  • ​Paid position. No experience necessary.

Assistant Director -

  • Collaborates with the Director on production goals, production schedule, casting, crew selections.
  • ​Takes notes and provides follow-up direction to actors and Stage Manager on changes and production updates.
  • ​Serves as a back-up for the Director when needed.
  • ​Paid position. Experience preferred.

Social & Community Outreach Coordinator -

  • Creates and builds relationships with other organizations, groups and businesses.
  • Collaborates with Company Members on participating in and creating events that benefit the community.
  • ​Coordinates activities and company member participation to further expand Calavera's  presence.
  • ​Volunteer position. No experience necessary. Strong organizational and public speaking skills desired.

Stage Manager -

  • Coordinates light / sound / backstage and actor's cues during rehearsals and performances.
  • Works closely with the Director and Assistant Director to ensure timely performances.
  • Completes pre-show and post-show checks.
  • ​Paid position. Experience preferred.

House Manager -

  • Keeps accurate records of Door ticket sales, merchandise sales and refreshment sales during performances.
  • ​Coordinates volunteers (Ushers) and works closely with the Stage Manager regarding overall production pieces affecting audience members.
  • ​Time Management / Organization skills required.
  • Paid position. No experience necessary.

Marketing/Publicity Coordinator -

  • Creates and maintains database for promoting Calavera's activities, promotions, fundraisers, and productions.
  • ​Works closely with media outlets, local businesses, and other theatre groups to promote Calavera's activities.
  • ​Identifies opportunities for sharing information on CTC and current/future productions.
  • ​Volunteer position. No experience necessary. Strong organizational and written communication skills desired.

Sound Designer/Technician -

  • Works closely with the Director and Assist. Director to create a musical arrangement that compliments the overall production.
  • Serves as the Sound Board technician during tech week and performances.
  • ​Paid position. No experience necessary.
